Smartycat-Mission

Our mission at Smartycat Kids is to provide your child with
educational and intellectual programs that are fun, captivating,
stimulating, and exciting. We wish to spark their interest in
the sciences, forming a foundation which they can build upon
throughout their academic career!

My name is Michelle Oppelt, founder of Smartycat Kids.   It is my great pleasure to introduce you to
Smartycat Kids, and share with you my dream of creating a program where children can explore, create,
imagine, and see how truly exciting learning can be!   I have always loved science, especially throughout
college where I majored in bio-science, but I have an absolute passion for children. I have completed course
studies in child development and child psychology, as well as ten years of experience working with children
in a preschool, nursery school, as a nanny, and as a mother myself to a wonderful son.   My focus on my own
son's development and education is what lead me to creating Smartycat Kids.   A child's mind is so active and
thirsty for knowledge, and it is my goal to help children realize their full potential by providing them with
stimulating and creative activities. I hope you and your family have a truly wonderful experience with us,
